My children are so blessed that they have three great-grandmothers that are still a part of their lives. On my side, my dad's mom, Geraldine Sandifer or Mamaw and on Charlie's side, his dad's mom, Patsy Jackson AKA Manner Jackson and his mom's mother, Norma Russell AKA Manner Russell. I consider each one of these wonderful ladies not only a blessing to my life, but how awsome that my kids are able to know and love them. (From left to right: Mamaw, Manner Russell, Manner Jackson)

Snow Again?
Ok - Tripp has seen more snow in his six years of life than I saw in the first twenty years of my life. It was beautiful to see the snow on Friday and actually get to see it stay for a while. Tripp and Charlie enjoyed making a snowman and having a snowball fight. I did get Vaiden out for a few minutes to snap a few pictures. I even pushed away thoughts of all the germs and we made snow ice cream. Jake wasn't to sure about the snow. He liked running through it, but it was almost as tall as him.
8 Months Old!
Vaiden turned 8 months old on February 10. He is growing up so fast and is so smart! (ok I know I am partial) He is pulling up and wants to walk so badly, and he really thinks that he can. He just turns around and lets go and then falls down! Amazingly, he has 8 teeth! I guess he is just ready to eat steak and chicken. He is becoming a very happy baby; a nice change from the first 7 fussy months of his life. He loves to snuggle and rock and of course I am much obliged to do so!

Christmas 2009

Well it's hard to believe that Christmas has come and gone again. We made Christmas cookies for Santa, enjoyed lots of wonderful time with family, and even got to go to the deer camp and relax! This was Vaiden's first Christmas and even though he will not remember anything about it, we will cherish the memories we made with him. Gavin, Jay and Hughes again joined us as we made cookies for Santa. I think that Hughes ate more than he decorated. He kept sneeking bites when he thought we were not looking. We were blessed to have all of the grandparents at our house on Christmas morning. Tripp got a DS from Papa Sid. His favorite present by far! (Sorry about the red eye - I think that I need a new camera for my birthday . . . hint hint)
