Tie-Dye Easter Eggs????

It has been a tradition ever since I can remember, that on Easter we dye Easter eggs. This tradition began where else, but with my mother. Charlie and I even dyed them every year that we were dating. You have to watch Charlie though. One year, I took a nap on the couch before dying eggs, and he dyed ALL of them while I was asleep. I think that there were about 60 eggs!! Well, this year we decided to try tie-dye eggs. This was pretty much a flop, but we had fun anyway. We are always looking for new things to do with our eggs. I even made deviled eggs for the first time this year so that I could actually use the deviled egg tray that I asked for for Christmas.

Take me out to the ballgame . . .

This is Tripp's first year to play T-ball. This is actually his first time to play an organized team sport. I knew that this would be a big deal with Charlie coaching baseball and all, but I had no idea how big of a deal T-ball really is. I mean some of these parents are really serious about this stuff. I want Tripp to do his best in all that he does, but he is also only 5 and has a whole life in front of him to play "serious" sports. They also need to have fun. Tripp came up to me after his first game and asked, "Who won the ballgame, Mama?" So I replied, "You did son." Now, every game that we play, he asks me who won the ballgame. So far, his team is undefeated (We don't even keep score. Every child bats twice and scores.) but he likes to tell people that he has won all of his games. I guess that after one of these games, I need to tell him that the other team won so that he doesn't think that they will always win. I know that I am partial and all, but I have the cutest little slugger out there!!!
